Zelina wine road

Passing through this tame landscape will overwhelm both your eyes and heart with its beauty. The palette of wines made here is broad, and includes Graševina, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Yellow Muscat, Rhine Riesling, Šipon-Moslavac, Pinot blanc, Pinot gris, Kerner…and, of course, Kraljevina, a county trademark wine. This is an indigenous, smooth and light white wine that is highly prized by many wine lovers. The Town of Sveti Ivan Zelina hosts an annual, traditional wine event, called the Northwestern Croatian Wine Exhibit. This is a meeting place for wine-growers, wine-makers, enologists and all those who love wine, to taste the samples on exhibit and to exchange experiences. To make the drops of Zelina wine in the next year, in the next harvest, even better.
